Dietikon Projektraum and #guerillaclassics invite you to “White Noise”, a Listening Session on September 21, 2024. The evening will focus on two compositions by Luigi Nono, “La fabbrica illuminata” and “Djamila Boupacha”, sung by Milanese singer Maria Eleonora Caminada, who is one of Italy’s most exciting contemporary voices in New Music. Well-known workers‘ songs and electro-acoustic adventures between factory noise and music will sound in a Swiss context at Dietikon Projektraum, referencing our past exhibition „food field assemblies“ on the Dietiker Salami factory Cattaneo and a film screening about Italian workers in Switzerland.
